waving his wings around, screeching and squawking.
Surely this female is only pretending not to notice.
This fellow has been singing a sweet simple melody.
He sounds somewhat like a canary.
Snow happens. It's still winter, after all.
Flickers have been active for some weeks now.
It takes time to carve a nest in a tree truck.
The early bird gets the first brood.
