They have their own version of Punxsutawney Phil. He is called Pisgah Pete. What is different about Pete?
Bryan?
I read about this Pete. He's a white squirrel
with a passion for odds making.
It's claimed that he's called the winner
of the Superbowl four times in a row.
Not sure about his skill predicting weather though.
Hostmaster: correct.
This is just shameless abuse of an
innocent animal for greed.
Squirrels are more energetic than groundhogs
and arguably more photogenic. It's a smart move.
Squirrels are more sneaky
and more spiteful than groundhogs.
It's reprehensible and criminal.
Quick! Call PETA!
Aren't white squirrels kind of unusual?
Maybe he's an albino
Hostmaster: no. I've seen a picture of him. He doesn't have pink eyes. He's probably just a very light gray squirrel. Apparently there are many of these "white" squirrels in Brevard.
The town has exploited this animal for selfish gain.
He's probably a genetic misfit due to Climate Change.
Here's a burning question.
Can Global Warming and Groundhog Day
be reconciled?
We're ignoring the true horror here.
This is obviously a case of white privilege!
That's not all!
This squirrel is Jimmy the Greek reincarnated
encouraging suckers to lose their shirts!
We're talking reprehensible horror.
Squirrels running a whole town.
Now that's horror!
This round is over.

Happy Birthday to son in Japan!
We're done with the sub zero temps and snow for now. Today it was above forty and much of the snow is melted.
It figures that dogs would fixate on squirrels.
ReplyDeleteDogs like to think of their interest in squirrels as an area of expertise.
